Candidasa is a part of Karangasem Regency, Eastern Bali that located at about 2 hours drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Candidasa is a seaside town on the edge of a lagoon with white sandy beach. Candidasa also known as fishing village and was founded on the site by the 12th century and before the modern name of Candi Dasa was adoped it was known as both Teluk Kehen (Bay of Fire) and Cilidasa.
