Badung :: The Center of Bali’s Tourism
Badung, Bali, has many tourist attractions such as beaches, cultural sites, and accommodations suitable for everyone. Badung is also home to Ngurah Rai International Airport, which serves as the main gateway for international tourists entering Bali. This area is well known for its beautiful beaches, luxury resorts and villas, as well as various traditional Balinese souvenirs.
Kuta Beach is always crowded, with big waves and a lively atmosphere at night, making it suitable for beginner surfers. Seminyak looks more upscale, with many beach clubs and restaurants. Pandawa Beach has beautiful white sand and is hidden behind cliffs. GWK Cultural Park features the very tall Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, about 121 meters high, along with traditional Balinese dance performances.
