Kuta Beach Bali

Sunset Beach Kuta Bali, The Most Iconic Sunset Beach in Bali

The most famous beach in Bali is Kuta Beach. Every tourist who visits Bali for the first time will include Kuta Beach as their top destination. Kuta Beach is also famous with Sunset Beach as the opposite of Sanur Beach as a Sunrise Beach. There is also Kuta beach in Lombok island but Kuta Beach Bali offers more attractive scenery with a beautiful sunset.

A Brief History of Kuta Beach
In the 19th century, a Demark trader, Mads Lange, come to Bali and founded the trading base in Kuta. Then Hugh Mabbett, a writer, launch a Book with the title "Praise to Kuta" that contains an invitation to the local people to build and prepare tourist accommodation and its facility around Kuta beach. Its beautiful white sandy beach also has a good wave for surfing sport that makes Kuta beach increasingly famous throughout the World until now.

Today, Kuta beach is famous for a surfing site especially for beginners, to enjoy the Sunset, swimming, or for walking around to eliminating fatigue. Here you can find easily a surfing school or surfboard rentals. Facilitated with a lot of parking areas, toilets, beach umbrellas, and others, Kuta beach also offers many of the entertainment like a bar, restaurants, shopping, hotels, and also street vendors along Kuta to Legian.

Kuta Beach is easy to find as most of the main roads provide the sign of navigation to Kuta Beach. Its location is only about 10 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport and many hotels in Kuta also make a "Walking distance to Kuta Beach" as their motto indicated that their location is near Kuta Beach. If you stay somewhere else in Bali, not in the Kuta area, you can visit Kuta Beach by charter a car with a local driver and visit other destinations in one day. Kuta Beach as the last destination for your day trip is a good plan so you can enjoy the beautiful sunset before your dinner time.
