Along the beaches of Bali, especially in fishing villages like Amed, Padang Bai, Kusamba, Sanur, Benoa, Tanjung Benoa, and as far north as Lovina Beach, you'll find the iconic traditional fishing boat known as the Jukung. These boats are specifically designed for fishing and are commonly used for coral or bottom fishing techniques. Nowadays, many Jukungs are equipped with one or two motors to enhance productivity.
Fishermen typically rely on their experience rather than modern technology, such as GPS or fish finders, to locate fishing spots. Some Balinese fishermen also consider auspicious days and times for fishing based on the Balinese calendar or predictions from village elders.
Unlike expert fishing, which can have days with no catch, this fun fishing experience offers a higher chance of catching many fish and enjoying them cooked at a local restaurant.

This program uses a motorized Jukung or traditional boat to explore locations from Sanur areas and employs coral or bottom-fishing techniques. You'll need all the necessary equipment, so you don't need to bring anything. We'll pick you up from your hotel around 6:30 am (by request), take you to our office in Sanur to fit the fishing gear, then head to the beach to meet our experienced fishing crew, who will be ready with the boat and additional equipment.

Terms of Service
- Booking in advance is required. Confirm bookings at least one day before the activity by 13:00.
- Fishing locations are in Sanur, and activities begin at Sanur Beach.
- The activity uses a motorized traditional fishing boat called a Jukung.
- Complimentary hotel pickup is available in Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta, Seminyak, and Sanur. Pickups in other areas incur a small extra cost.
- Cancellation policy: 100% charge for cancellations on the day of the activity or no-shows; 50% charge for cancellations made one day before the activity.
- Lunch box selection includes: Sandwich, Fried Noodles, or Fried Rice.
- All fishing equipment, including bait and lures, is included.
- The activity level is easy and suitable for all ages.
