The Tabanan Horse Stable was set up in Bali in 2004 by Fran, a skilled horse rider who had been in charge of a riding school in Australia for more than twenty years. When she returned to Bali, she had a vision not just for opening a typical riding establishment, but for one that would provide people with an experience that connects them to the island's genuine spirit and beauty.
From the beginning, the Tabanan Horse Stable has rescued a large number of horses, including those which had previously been used in racing and for driving carriages, offering them a second opportunity at life. The stable now looks after 20 happy and healthy horses, and its main aim is to invite visitors to enjoy the charm of 'real Bali'—for example, the tranquil countryside and the lush green rice fields—on horseback, always keeping safety and personalized service in mind.
The Tabanan Horse Stables have quiet horses for every rider and friendly guides to accompany you. Children are most welcome and can be led if required. The long ride will be from the stable through the rice fields and then to the beach.
Available: 30-minute ride through the rice field, long ride through the rice field to the beach, sunset beach horse riding, and pony ride for children under 5 years old.

Terms of Service
- Weight Limit: Maximum rider weight is 85 kg.
- Riding Experience: Please state your level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) when booking.
- Beach Riding: Reaching the beach requires a long ride, as it takes several minutes to ride from the stable to the shore.
- Attire: Wear comfortable long pants and closed-toe shoes.
- Sun Protection: Apply sunscreen before your ride.
- Safety: Strictly follow your instructor's guidelines at all times.
- Booking: Advance booking is required to secure your slot.
