Mount Agung Trekking :: The Highest Montain in Bali
The highest montain in Bali Island is Mount Agung with heigh of 3142 m above sea level located at Rendang village, Karangasem regency. Mount Agung is a stratovolcano type with large crater that very deep and somtimes produce smoke and water vapor.

Mount Agung trekking can start from Besakih Temple or Pasar Agung Temple. The closer distance if from Pasar Agung Temple and will spend a more little effort. From Pasar Agung Temple will take about 4 hours hiking and about 3 hours down. For start from Besakih Temple, will take approximately 6 hours hiking, 5 hours down through the forest and then a half hike through the rocks and grass, which is guided by a professional guide.
While hike to the peak, an others guide preparing breakfast to be enjoyed when you arrive at the summit such as bread, banana, tea and coffee. However, in the way of mineral water will also be prepared by a trekking guide. After we enjoy the scenery around the island of Bali from the top of this mountain, when we back then we worship together at 'Pasar Agung' Temple or 'Besakih Temple' if through the climb.
