Mr. Sandiaga Uno, says that the Work From Bali will start in July 2021 gradually
The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mr. Sandiaga Uno, says that the Work From Bali will start in July 2021 gradually. This program is a "first aid" for Bali tourism sector and of course, will apply the tight of healthy protocols. He also said that the Domestic visitors decrease after the ban on going home (Mudik) for Eid this year (2021). With the Work From Bali program, he hopes that the number of hotel occupancy is growing up, restaurants, and also economy creative products.
Work From Bali (WFB) is a Government program to invite people to work from Bali. At the moment, the place chosen for this program is Nusa Dua area that managed by ITDC (Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation). This program launched to help the tourism sector of Bali affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Work From Bali (WFB) is not only aimed at the 25% state civil apparatus (official servant) but also aimed at state-owned enterprises companies and start-ups.
In the Weekly Press Briefing, Sandiaga revealed that he had just received information that gradually Bank Indonesia employees at the level of the board of governors and several bureaus could carry out activities from Bali.
Bali is suitable for implementing the Work From Bali program because it is no longer in the Covid-19 red zone and all hotels are CHSE certified (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment Sustainability) certified and tourism employees have been vaccinated.
